B&K AVR305 Problems

My B&K AVR305 is dead.  The display powers up either black or with 1 digit all segments on.  Found this link with similar problems.  Mine has the same bulged cap:

New Comcast Internet Service

Looking much faster than the old Telstra 3G tethered connection in Sydney.  Speed test results about 50mbps.

Netgear WNR834bv2 wireless router slows things down to about 20mbps - see results.  Looks like we need to upgrade the WLAN router.  Hold the phone, the second test came in at 46mbps, so maybe it was the WAN - results.

Spent a bit of time troubleshooting the Netgear.   Turns out the amber flashing led on the Motorola Surfboard Xtreme, just means 100mpbs or slower.  It also need to be reset in order for DHCP to work properly.
